Putting all sarcasm aside.(which is the amusing part of this site) To ban something that is obviously wrong and detestable is moronic.( see Bfeirush in Fartscroll post) Like 'we ban murder'. However as most of us know the overwhelming majority of charedim are decent god fearing folk. That being said, someone who is to lead the congregation in prayer should be one who has given his being some attempt at being wholesome and pure. Internet without a filter is to tempting for a person not to wander and look at forbidden things. And yes... it is not an 'enforcable' ban. They are relying on ones honor to abide by their rule.

I don't understand what the issue you have with this. All that this is is a shul that has a nonexistent community in Lakewood who's rabbi is requesting that those without filters shouldn't lead prayers. Noone is coming into anyone's home, this is a pure honor system which everyone should be abiding by anyways when keeping within the frum standards of modesty.

He is an indisputable child molester. He even failed a lie detector test. There are several victims. One of them is now a victims' advocate. Another went to Dov Hikind and requested anonymity so he wouldn't ruin his shidduchim prospects. There are others who are simply afraid to talk but they have confided with JBAC members.

But "failing" a lie detector test, or for that matter, "passing" one, isn't proof of anything. That's why lie detector tests are generally disallowed in court.

These tests are dependent upon the examiner convincing the person undergoing the test that the machine is accurate. Basically this is done by having the person "lie" on something which is known to be false; the machine then shows the persn is "lying." Problem is, the examiner gooses the polygraph to produce erroneous results.

Frequently a suspect then admits his crimes, as he now is led to believe the machine is infallable.

One day soon a few of them will introduce themselves to the NYPD and the DA's office and will file criminal charges against that sexual predator. Other arrests will follow for those that were responsible for his rehiring.
