Video: A History Of Autism

The rate of diagnosed cases of autism has more than doubled since 2000 and researchers have spent millions looking for causes and cures. Author Steve Silberman explores the history behind this dramatic increase, and shows autism has always been much more common than we realized, in part because it was misdiagnosed as other disorders and mental illnesses. And it doesn't come from wi-fi or power lines or vaccines.
