The Skvere Rebbe David Twersky and his hasidim have never apologized to Aron Rottenberg for the incitement against him that directly lead to the arson that disfigured him and almost killed him and his entire family. The arsonist, Shaul Spitzer, the rebbe's servant, has never sincerely apologized, either. Tomorrow his appeal asking for early release from prison is slated to be heard, and the rebbe ordered all of his hasidim to pray for Spitzer the arsonist so he should be released. But that order does not include any prayers or apologies for them man Spitzer almost killed.

As the victim of Spitzer's arson, New Square dissident Aron Rottenberg, said so well last week:
"No one from the community or the family has apologized. They had 3 1/2 years to apologize. Instead, he's become a hero for them and a role model for their teenagers. [And now] they're asking me to ask the judge to give him youthful offender [status so he can be released from prison early]. I won't."
And as the rebbe and his religious court have again clearly proved, New Square, its rebbe and its leaders have absolutely no remorse.
