The information is preliminary, but Shaul Spitzer, the man who at 18-years-old tried to burn New Square dissident Aron Rottenberg and his entire family alive, will be set free by the end of this week after serving only 3-1/2 years even though his victim Aron Rottenberg, who agreed to the original plea deal, strongly opposed this new leniency.
Spitzer pleaded guilty to felony assault, could have gotten 25 years, instead got only 7, and is now apparently walking free because he was only 18 when he tried to murder almost a dozen people.
New York State "justice."
