Bobov 45 members are suing to have the beit din ruling that gave exclusive use of the name "Bobov" to the Bobov 48 faction overturned for technical reasons. The suit is filed pro se, meaning it is filed without an attorney, and appears to have little chance of success. But in this 11-year succession battle, rational thought, halakha and secular law have most often taken the backseat – if they even played any role at all.
