Update 9:45 am CDT – The JC reports:
…Wearing glasses and dressed in a black suit with open-collar white shirt, Grynhaus showed no emotion as he was unanimously found guilty of three charges of indecent assault, and of the four other charges by a majority verdict of 10-2.
The verdicts were returned after 10 hours deliberation.…
The judge Mr Justice Timothy Holroyde told Grynhause: “The nature of the offences involved a high degree of manipulative behaviour coupled with a refusal to acknowledge any wrongdoing whatsoever. While I appreciate many years have passed I am not minded to say here and now that no finding of dangerousness should be made.
"You have been convicted of these serious offences. A substantial prison sentence is inevitable but before deciding the appropriate sentence I will welcome the assistance of a probation report.”
The judge thanked the jury. “It has, I am sure, been a difficult exercise for you. I must find out if he is a danger to the public in the future even though we have learnt a great deal about him in the course of this trial.”
