Aron Tzvi "Aaron" Rabiner talks about his (as yet unofficial) election victory Wednesday. Rabiner is the first hasidic person to hold a seat on the tiny village of Bloomingburg, New York's village board. Hasidim and Modern Orthodox developer Shalom Lamm have used what many say is deception (and, some allege, bribery and other illegal tactics) to gain control of the 420-person village in the Catskill Mountains and convert it to a hasidic shtetl.
