A hung jury in the case of accused haredi pedophile Rabbi Todros Grynhaus, who jumped bail and fled to Israel on a false passport and then fought extradition and deportation before finally being deported to the UK in October 2014, means a new trial – likely in about 6 to 9 months.
The defense has applied for bail. The judge will rule on that application tomorrow.
I'll post more information as it becomes available.
Update 3:36 pm CDT – THE JC is reporting Grynhaus' new trial will be in January of next year. And that would appear to mean that Grynhaus will likely be released on bail – despite the fact that he jumped bail previously.
