101-Year Old Top Haredi Rabbi In Critical Condition

The leading posek (decisor of halakha, Orthodox Jewish law) for hasidim worldwide, Rabbi Shmuel HaLevi Wosner, is reportedly in critical condition in Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Bnei Bak.

The leading posek (decisor of halakha, Orthodox Jewish law) for hasidim worldwide, Rabbi Shmuel HaLevi Wosner, is reportedly in critical condition in Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Bnei Bak.

The 101-year-old rabbi has been hospitalized for three weeks with pneumonia that has not responded to treatment and has been on a ventilator. Some reports hint that Wosner’s organs may be shutting down.

People are asked to pray for Shmuel ben Rochel.
