Riots broke out again tonight between rival factions in non-hasidic haredi Judaism's second largest yeshiva, Poneviz (Ponevitch; Ponevizh) in Bnei Brak. There were allegedly several injuries and police swat teams flooded the yeshiva along with emergency medical responders. 10 yeshiva students were allegedly stabbed and a rosh yeshiva (dean) was beaten. Police alleged shut down the yeshiva.

Update 4:23 pm CST – Beharey Haredim is now reporting that dozens of students were injured. Three required medical treatment (but apparently not hospitalization). The rosh yeshiva who was beaten is Rabbi Markovitch (Markovitz; Markovits).
