At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Orthodox Rabbi David Rosen, the International Director of Interreligious Affairs at the American Jewish Committee, tells the Huffington Post that "the most dangerous thing for religion is when it's married to political power."
Rosen was a student at the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem for several years and has smicha from several top haredi rabbis. His father Koppel Rosen was a leading Orthodox rabbi in England. His brother Jeremy was a leading Orthodox rabbi there, as well, and is now based in North America. David Rosen, who specialty is interreligious dialogue, is himself is best described as Modern Orthodox.
