Police say they interviewed Rabbi Fredrick "Ephraim" Karp last week. Police got an arrest warrant sometime after the interview, but when they went back to arrest Karp, Karp was gone. Police found him at JFK airport in New York, where he was arrested. (Karp was supposedly on his way to a conference of Jewish chaplains in Jerusalem, but the conference was not scheduled to start for about a week – meaning Karp was likely trying to flee arrest.)
