A witness to the stabbing attack last night in Chabad's main synagogue in its international headquarters in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York says cops stationed outside the synagogue, located at 770 Eastern Parkway, were sleeping when the attack took place and were slow to respond to calls for help. The assailant allegedly said "Death to Jews" as he stabbed 20-year-old Levi Rosenblatt, an Israeli yeshiva student who is now hospitalized in stable condition. The assailant who has a long history of mental health issues, was shot by police and is dead.
