Aron Wieder passed out protest signs and literature against state oversight of the scandal-plagued haredi-controlled East Ramapo school board at the last meeting of that school board. Wieder gave the material to hasidim he apparently recruited to come to the school board meeting to hold a protest against a recommendation that the state appoint a fiscal overseer for the school district who could do things like veto under-market-rate sales of school buildings to haredi yeshivas and illegal transfers of district resources to haredi schools.
