Jewish Settlers Allegedly Throw Firebomb Inside Occupied Palestinian House In New Hate Crime Attack

A home in the Palestinian village of Khirbat Adirat was set on fire by a Molotov cocktail in an apparent price tag hate crime attack early Wednesday morning, Ynet reported.
Two masked men broke the home's window at about 4:00 am and threw the firebomb inside into the living room while 10 people were sleeping inside house. The word "revenge" was also painted on the side of the house.
"Early in the morning two settlers were spotted pulling their car over to the side of the road and running towards one of the community's structures. They quickly spray painted the side of the home and threw the Molotov cocktail into the house and fled. We couldn't catch them because we were too busy extinguishing the fire," a neighbor told Ynet.
The firebomb reportedly caused a fire inside the home that caused minimal damage.
The head of the Mt. Hebron Regional Council said it was too early to blame Jewish settlers for the attack.
"The incident is now being investigated and we are working closely with the IDF to figure out what really happened. I recommend that everyone wait for the results of the investigation before we recreate the mistakes of the past, in which settlers were mistakenly blamed for vandalism and attacks that never took place," Yoahi Damri, the regional council head, reportedly said.
Later in the day, Palestinians went to their fields near the settlement of Nokdim (the home of Israel’s right-wing Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman) to plow.
Jewish settlers, apparently upset that Palestinians did not coordinate the plowing with the civil administration, violently physically attacked the Palestinian farmers.
The IDF responded and separated the settlers and the Palestinians.
There is no report of arrests being made.
