A pedestrian was struck by a car driven by a haredi man who was driving with a suspended license, the Daily News reported.
The victim is reportedly hospitalized in critical condition.
The accident happened Sunday at about 6:35 am on Bath Avenue near Bay Parkway in Brooklyn.
The victim was in the crosswalk when he was struck by a 2011 black Toyota Camry driven by Simcha Rosenblatt, a 60-year-old man from Lakewood, NJ.
Rosenblatt was reportedly arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and failing to exercise due care.
