According to Palestinians from the village of Khirbat Abu Falah, Jewish settlers pounded on the doors of a house in the village overnight. When no one answered, they painted “Death to Arabs,” ”Vengance" and other anti-Arab slogans on the house, allegedly poured an as yet undetermined flammable liquid on it, and set the house on fire.

Arab House Set On Fire In Alleged Jewish Settler Hate Crime

West Bank Jewish settlers allegedly set fire to a home in an Arab village today in what appears to be another in a long line of “price tag” hate crimes carried out by settlers and their supporters against Arab Muslims and Christians, Ynet reported.
Dozens, likely hundreds, of similar anti-Arab, anti-Muslim and anti-Christian hate crimes have been carried out over the past several years, allegedly by Jewish settlers and their supporters, most according to Israel’s internal security service commonly known as the Shin Bet students or disciples of Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh, a Chabad rabbi who heads the Od Yosef Chai yeshiva in the radical West Bank settlement of Yitzhar. While Ginsburgh holds no official position in Chabad, he is still one of the most popular rabbis among Anglo Chabad hasidim and Chabad ba’al teshuvas in Israel.
Despite this long wave of attacks, Israel’s security services have made only handful of arrests, and cases that do get prosecuted are often settle with a no-prison slap on the wrist rather significant prison time.
Israel’s repeated failure to treat these hate crimes seriously has drawn worldwide condemnation, most recently by the US State Department earlier this year.

Two weeks ago, a similar fire seriously damaged a mosque in the village of Al-Maghir near Ramallah, about one mile from the site of today’s arson.
There were also a number of altercations between Jews and Arabs across Israel over the weekend along with what Ynet calls “mutual signs of cultural disrespect.”
