Right-Wing Rabbi Shot In Terrorist Assassination Attempt Shows “Very Light” Improvement

The condition of 49-year-old Rabbi Yehuda Glick, the leading right-wing activist shot Wednesday by a Palestinian terrorist outside the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem, is now showing “very light improvement,” Professor Dr. Petachia Reissman, head of Shaare Zedek Medical Center’s general surgery department and a member of its gastroenterology department reportedly said in a statement.
Glick is now listed in serious but stable condition. He is connected to a respirator and is “under a general anesthesia” that will likely “continue for a few days,” the Jerusalem Post reported. (This is likely a medically induced coma.)
When he improves, Glick is expected to undergo another operation or perhaps two to repair damaged internal organs.
The bullets punctured one of Glick’s lungs, his throat, one hand hand, and fractured ribs and caused even more harm to his small and large intestines.
