UPDATED: 3 Suspects Allegedly In Custody For Murder Of Satmar Slumlord Menachem "Max" Stark, At Least One Arrest Made

Three suspects, who are by some accounts Russians, have allegedly been taken into custody by the NYPD for the murder of Satmar slumlord Menachem "Max" Stark.

Three suspects, who are by some accounts Russians, have allegedly been taken into custody by the NYPD for the murder of Satmar slumlord Menachem "Max" Stark.

Stark was kidnapped in Williamsburg the night of January 2 and found dead in Great Neck, Long Island the next day.

I'll post more information as it becomes available.

Update 9:49 am CDT – Oren Yaniv of the Daily News tweeted that one person is in custody but not yet arrested or charged.

Update 10;10 am CDT – Yaniv is now reporting that several people are in custody. Still no arrests, though.

Update 11:03 am CDT – The DN is reporting that one unidentified suspect has been arrested.

Update 3:30 pm CDT – I'm hearing the three suspects are not Russians or Eastern Europeans.
