Israel Police are now investigating what they believe could be the pimping out of underage girls to two unnamed but famous Israeli singers and their entourages, Ha’aretz reported.
The girls allegedly were sent by a PR executive to private parties he organized for the singers. The girls would allegedly have sex with the adults in exchange for jewelry, clothing and cash.
One of the girls, now aged 17, reportedly spoke to Channel 10 Friday night and said all the sex was consensual.
“We got close a little over a year ago. I’m not saying he sexually harassed me or anything, it was all consensual. I wanted it. I went out with [one of] the famous people at first, and he’s also a famous singer. This isn’t a person who comes and says, ‘I want to sleep with her’ and then sleeps with her; it took a long time. It reached a point where I wanted it from him. I’m not accusing him of anything,” she reportedly said.
Six or seven girls between that ages of 15- and 17-years old allegedly participated in the parties and the sex. Four of the girls gave testimony to police Thursday.
The PR executive allegedly told police last week that none of the men or girls knew the ages of any of the others. While admitting to organizing the parties, he claimed to have no knowledge of participants having sex at them.
Police have not yet questioned the singers.
“The transition to an open investigation and summoning the suspects for questioning under caution will be possible only if the testimony and investigation material point to a real and substantial suspicion of criminal wrongdoing,” the police reportedly said in a statement.
The age of consent in Israel is 16-years-old.
