The British haredi umbrella organization the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations (Kedassia) issued a public letter attacking participation in Limmud or any other venue in which non-Orthodox rabbis or leaders also participate.
A rough, abridged translation from a reader:
For generations, haredim all over the world including in London under the supervision of gadolei HaTorah [great haredi Torah sages], have declared war against the Reform who uproot our religion.
However, in recent times this wall [between us and the Reform] has been breached, because there are rabbis who go to "Limmud" where the Reform also preach. The pain of this is immense, because it appears that there is a heter [legal permission] to listen to speeches from the Reform, chas v'shalom [God forbid].
There are also rumors that there are shuls [Orthodox synagogues] where women kiss the Torah, or even dance with the Torah on [the holiday of] Simchat Torah. If this breach of our separation [between us and the Reform] is not maintained, who knows where this will end, God forbid.
There is therefore a strong obligation to stand our guard and prohibit participation in any forum where there are Reform [present], and to strengthen the walls of Jews who believe in God and His Torah.
