Brooklyn D.A. Publishes Racist Anti-Thompson Ad

The ad says Thompson only won because his supporters are "the minority element that seeks lawlessness" and is published in at least one Yiddish-language Satmar-hasid-owned newspaper.

Thompson's campaign writes:

…Translated into English, the third bullet of the ad (attached) lists facts that "leaders and activists know" about Republican Joe Hynes, including "that his opponent [Ken Thompson] was only successful because a very small percent came out to vote and there he pulled in the minority element that seeks lawlessness."

The next section goes on to say "leaders and activists know that in the next election when 60% of Brooklyn will come-out and vote, they will use common sense and not vote for lawlessness."…
