Israel’s High Court of Justice decided not to force the government to immediately induct hundreds of haredim into the IDF. Instead, the High Court reportedly opted to allow haredim who have already been drafted and who are scheduled to report to induction centers this month to have their military service delayed by the government until a new draft law is passed. However, the time these haredim spend waiting to report will not count toward the time they are mandated to serve in the military.
