The warring factions have reached an agreement with the help of the Williamsburg Satmar Rebbe Zalman Teitelbaum. Rabbi Eliyahu Posen, named by non-Edah-Haredit haredi leader Rabbi Nissim Karelitz will be appointed as the haredi inspector of the Beit Shemesh construction site at the root of the violence. Posen will watch to make sure no graves are being disturbed. All complaints from haredim about the site will be directed to him, and construction can now go on unabated. The agreement is based on the fact that, despite the false claims by Edah Haredit's #1 Rabbi Yitzhchok Tuvia Weiss and his Asra Kadisha extortionist-thugs, there are no ancient Jewish graves at the site.

Haredi Violence Reportedly Ends

The infighting and violence in Edah Haredit over a Beit Shemesh construction site has apparently come to an end as have the anti-police riots, death threats and beatings associated with it.
Over the past month, thugs linked to Asra Kadisha, an Edah Haredit subsidiary which claims to protect Jewish graves but in reality operates as a criminal gang which extorts developers and archaeologists, have repeatedly rioted, clashing with police and stoning construction workers while at the same time Asra-Kadisha-linked thugs savagely beat the elderly haredi developer of the site and tried to do the same to the adult son of Edah Haredit's #2, Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch.
Indeed, Sternbuch was demonized by the majority of Edah Haredit becuase he had ruled there were no graves at the Beit Shemesh construction site and work could continue unabated.
Edah Haredit's #1, Rabbi Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss, opposed the construction, insisting it was desecrating ancient Jewish graves – although no such graves had been found.
Now Kikar HaShabbat reports that the warring factions have reached an agreement with the help of the Williamsburg Satmar Rebbe Zalman Teitelbaum. Rabbi Eliyahu Posen, named by non-Edah-Haredit haredi leader Rabbi Nissim Karelitz will be appointed as the haredi inspector of the site. Posen will watch to make sure no graves are being disturbed. All complaints from haredim about the site will be directed to him, and construction can now go on without violence.
No ancient Jewish graves have yet been found.
