At no time during that interview does Brenner mention any of the evidence The Jewish Week and the New York Times have amassed against Hynes – not even the federal court rulings that excoriate Hynes' office for massive violations of defendants' rights.
Hynes is extremely misleading about other issues, as well, and Brenner never challenges him on any of it. Brenner also fails to mention the names of any of Hynes' challengers or the fact that the largest union in the city endorsed Ken Thompson – not Hynes – earlier this week, just days before this interview:
