A haredi rosh yeshiva in London has reportedly blamed the sudden death of a
27-year-old married yeshiva student from pneumonia on those in the
haredi community who have denigrated or embarassed Rabbi Chaim Halpern,
who is currently under police questioning for allegedly sexually abusing
several women he was counseling.

Rabbi Elyakim Schlesenger, a haredi rosh yeshiva in London, has blamed the sudden death of a 27-year-old married yeshiva student from pneumonia on those in the haredi community who have denigrated or embarassed Rabbi Chaim Halpern, who is currently under police questioning for allegedly sexually abusing several women he was counseling.
Rabbi Elyakim Schlesenger's statement, reported by Behadrei Haredi, is meant to attack those haredim who are cooperating with the police investigation against Halpern.
Halpern, who heads his own London synagogue, was an unlicensed marriage counselor.
