Approximately 15 people were involved in a fight at Agri Star in Postville, Iowa. One person was reportedly stabbed and had to be airlifted to a Wisconsin medical facility. The fight appears to have been between Hispanic and Somali workers.

Rumble At Glatt Kosher Slaughterhouse Leaves At least One Person Stabbed

KCRG TV News is reported that the Clayton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stabbing that took place at the Agri Star glatt kosher slaughterhouse Tuesday night.
Witnesses told KCRG that approximately 15 people were involved in the fight. One person was stabbed. Another was arrested for that stabbing.
The fight took place at approximately 7:00 p.m. inside Postville's Agri Star glatt kosher meat processing plant, KWWL reported this morning. John Herrera allegedly stabbed Abdikani Hassan. Herrera was arrested and charged with willful injury.
Hassan was first transported to the Veteran's Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa but was later airlifted to Gunderson Clinic in LaCrosse, Wisconsin for "precautionary reasons." Hassan has a single stab wound underneath his left shoulder blade. He is expected to live.
Agri Star, the successor company to Agriprocessors – once the world’s largest glatt kosher slaughterhouse – has operated the Postville, Iowa slaughterhouse since purchasing it in July 2009.
