Satmar Infighting Over Camps, Armory Sale, Continues As Governor – And State –Allegedly Take One Side

The fighting over possession of Satmar’s four upstate camps, the right to purchase the Williamsburg Armory in a backroom deal at below market rate, and occupancy of one faction’s newer Williamsburg synagogue building exclusively reported last night by Failedmessiah.com continues.
Satmar sources tell FailedMessiah.com that permits to use the camps was given to the Zalman faction this morning. (Aharon's faction claims those permits were given on a one-year basis; Zalman's faction apparently disputes this and believes the camps are theirs in perpetuity – unless a court rules otherwise.)
However, the Williamsburg Satmar Rebbe Rabbi Zalman Teitelbaum will have to work out a deal with the rival faction head – his brother, the Kiryas Joel Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Aharon Teitelbaum, over the division of the Williamsburg Armory both factions want to purchase from the state.
If Zalman continues to refuse to make that deal, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will allegedly consider Rabbi Aharon Teitelbaum’s faction as first bidders on the armory property.
However, Zalman’s representatives allegedly told Cuomo’s office that they would not meet again with Abraham Eisner, a Satmar businessman who is Cuomo’s Jewish liaison, because they consider Eisner a member of Aharon’s rival faction and not a neutral broker.
Meanwhile, allegedly as part of these negotiations with Cuomo’s office, the large Wilson Street Satmar synagogue in Williamsburg controlled by the Zalman faction was issued permits. (Please see the Der Yid excerpt I posted below at 3:52 pm CDT.) constructed in 14 days without correct permits and despite a stop work order from the city several years ago and never fully occupied as a result, was given a permit to clean and make the property safe earlier this week. However, the property allegedly previously went into default, and the Zalman faction acquired the mortgage. So the permit was given – but to Zalman's faction.
