Soul Doctor, the musical about the real-life unconventional Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, will arrive on Broadway July 17 at Circle in the Square, producers announced May 29.
Conceived by Jeremy Chess, created by David Schechter and Daniel S. Wise, with direction by Wise, Soul Doctor has a book by Wise, lyrics by Schechter and music by Shlomo Carlebach, with additional material by Neshama Carlebach.
An official opening night has been set for Aug. 15. Jeremy Chess, Jerome Levy, Robert Beckwitt, Edward Steinberg, Joel Kahn and Danny Boy Productions produce the Broadway run. Tickets are currently on sale…
