Suspected Child Sexual Abuse Coverup In Israeli Chabad School Allegedly Has More Than 70 Victims

At least 70 children and adolescents, some as young as preschool age, were allegedly sexually abused in a southern Israeli school, the Israeli news website Glitz reports.
Older children at the school allegedly sexually abused younger children there.
Parents were only told about the alleged abuse this week in a meeting with the school’s director, who reportedly told the parents in order to dispel rumors of the abuse.
Failedmessiah.com has learned that the school is allegedly a Chabad heder located in Nachlat Har Chabad neighborhood of Kiryat Malachi.
A city representative – who I’m told is a Chabad hasid – claimed there was only one case, and that case was handled internally. He also warned parents that it was forbidden to speak publicly about the alleged abuse or allow it to become public on the haredi news website and forum Behadrei Haredim.
Even though the school's director reportedly told parents that police were aware of the alleged crimes, police responded to the claims of rampant sexual abuse at the school by saying that they knew of only one case there.
“The claim that dozens of children and adolescents were sexually abused is baseless,” a police spokesperson said.
Instead, police claim that there is only one known case of a student being sexually assaulted at the school by another student, but the victim refuses to file an official criminal complaint.
The school’s principal reportedly refused to comment on the police statement.
Two years ago a member of the school’s administration was allegedly fired after sexually abusing and beating students.
