As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu read the names of his new cabinet ministers in the Knesset, he got to the name of Naftali Bennett, head of the right wing Zionist Orthodox HaBayit HaYehudi party. At that point, Ashkenazi haredim from the Untied Torah Judaism part walked out while yelling, "Jews don't expel Jews," a play on the Zionist Orthodox slogan against evacuating Gaza and West Bank settlements. The haredi MKs meant the slogan to apply to their party's "expulsion" from the new Israeli governing coalition. At right, one the haredi MKs who walked out, Rabbi Yisrael Eichler.
