Yossi Gestetner, the haredi PR flack known for defending Nechemya Weberman's massive Williamsburg fundraiser and the Satmar community's viciousness toward Weberman's child victim has now applied to be named a replacement member of the haredi-controlled scandal-ridden East Ramapo school board, a local source tells me.
The 9 member board has 7 haredi and Orthodox members who act as a bloc. The two non-Jewish members resigned just over a month ago, citing everything from intimidation and veiled threats from the haredi community to the haredi bloc's alleged secret decision making that renders actual legal board meetings not much more than a show, a Potemkin Village.
