"Please note that the request to attend a Din Torah that you issued [on behalf of Yeshiva University's Rabbi Yosef Blau for a zabloh] was not a proper Hazmonah. Should we receive any Hazmonah, as a Chabad - Lubavitch institution we insist to have this matter heard before the Vaad Rabbonei Lubavitch HaKlolli to be conducted in Melbourne."

These same Chabad leaders recently refused to go to a Chabad beit din when summoned by a teacher they summarily fired, Rabbi Yossi Engel, allegedly without cause.

As explained earlier, the policy of Yeshivah Shule is to allocate aliyas to mispallelim who are in a position of a chiyuv.
The allocation of other “non-chiyuv” aliyas is at the discretion of the Gabboim and Shule Committee and they take a range of factors into account in exercising that discretion. We are therefore not in a position to guarantee to any mispallel that they will have an aliya when they have a simcha or return from overseas.
In relation to the written statement that you are seeking, we are not in a position to make a declaration about a person’s actions.
The Shule Committee has made its position on aliyas very clear to you and no useful purpose can be served by a continuation of correspondence between us regarding this matter.
Please note that the request to attend a Din Torah that you issued was not a proper Hazmonah. Should we receive any Hazmonah, as a Chabad - Lubavitch institution we insist to have this matter heard before the Vaad Rabbonei Lubavitch HaKlolli to be conducted in Melbourne.
Please also note that the Shule is considering its position in relation to Yoreh Deah Siman 243, a matter which we do not take lightly.
With best wishes for a Happy and Kosher Pesach,
Yeshivah Shule Committee
