A 53-year-old man was arrested in Brooklyn Friday while trying to lure a 10-year-old girl into his car, the NY Post reports.
Chaim Fried parked his car at East Second Street and 18th Avenue in Borough Park at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday when he allegedly grabbed a girl's arm and said, "Come with me!"
The resourceful little girl pushed Fried off, broke free and ran away.
Fried returned to the same corner Friday morning to try his luck again. But police were waiting for him arrested Fried, who was charged Friday with attempted kidnapping, attempted unlawful imprisonment and reckless endangerment of a child.
The Post reports that Fried managed to post his (incredibly small) $2,500 bail Friday night.
