Accused Haredi Fraudster Caught Violating House Arrest

A haredi businessman charged with tax fraud, money laundering and accepting bribes was nabbed by Israeli police who found him eating at a Tel Aviv restaurant in violation of the terms of his house arrest.

A haredi businessman charged with tax fraud, money laundering and accepting bribes was nabbed by Israeli police who found him eating at a Tel Aviv restaurant in violation of the terms of his house arrest.

At the time of his arrest, Jacob Berger had documents with him containing personal details about the prosecution and the case brought against him, an Arutz 7 news brief reports.

Earlier today, the Jerusalem District Court decided to make the terms of Berger’s house arrest stricter.
