The Kashruth Council of Canada, perhaps more familiar to kosher consumers as the COR seal, was ordered by the Canadian equivalent of the US National Labor Relations Board to pay its mashgichim and certain other employees for all the overtime it failed to pay them, for forcing them to work on holidays but not paying them holiday pay, and for multiple other labor violations. In response, the Kashruth Council of Canada is pressuring those employees to sign over their cash awards to the Kashruth Council of Canada.
