A right wing Zionist Orthodox went to South Tel Aviv on a “safari” and took pictures in which she posed near African refugees who she referred to as “animals,” Ynet reports.
Ayala Ben Naftali uploaded a photo album to her Facebook account she titled "Night tour of the South Tel Aviv safari.”
The above picture of Ben Naftali in a South Tel Aviv park with African refugees carried the caption, "There are no signs saying you can't take pictures with the animals. There were no signs forbidding feeding either, but we decided to pass on that."
Ben Naftali came under a firestorm of criticism from more liberal Israelis.
In response, she blocked access to the photos to anyone who is not her Facebook friend.
And far from being chastised by by what she wrote, Ben Naftali claims she did nothing wrong. In fact, she told Ynet, if she were a man, no one would have complained about what she posted at all. “Clearly, if a man had posted a critical photo against the infiltrators, he would have been completely ignored,” she told said.
