Did you grow up in Williamsburg, Crown Heights, Borough Park or Monsey thinking the music your parents let you buy in Eichler's was the be all and end all of great music? If so, have I got a video for you…

Here is the London Hard Rock Calling concert from earlier this year featuring Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, John Fogerty and many others. Watch it. (But be forewarned: there are women performers. Two start at about 15 minutes into the video.)

Watch this and you'll understand what music can be. This is one reason your rabbis don't want you to own an iPod:
