Modern Orthodox women in Beit Shemesh gave a guided bus tour to Reform women to show them where in Beit Shemesh they still face sexual and gender harassment and where it is still unsafe for them to walk or drive in the Israeli city at the epicenter of haredi violence against women and girls.
Here's a relatively mild example of haredi men demonstrating near the entrance to the Modern Orthodox girls' grade school, screaming and calling the little girls "shikse" – a derogatory term for non-Jewish women. It was shot last fall:
