A hasidic rebbe in Jerusalem was caught with a young naked woman who is not his wife, Israel Hayom reports.
The rebbe, who has not yet been named, allegedly heads one Israel’s largest and best known hasidic sects. He reportedly told some of his hasidim that he had “fallen.”
The rebbe was discovered when a visiting hasid climbed up to the rebbe’s window to peer in. He was shocked to see his rebbe – who was supposed to be like an angel and extremely close to God – cavorting with a much younger naked woman who is not his wife.
The hasid is described as a well-known and trusted member of the community. He wrote the rebbe a letter asking him to explain what the hasid saw through the window and left the note on the rebbe's car.
Other hasidim of the rebbe found the note, and a "firestorm" erupted.
Israel Hayom reports that members of the rebbe's inner circle tried to cover up the incident, and the woman was allegedly threatened with violence to keep her quiet.
A sect insider claims more revelations, all of them bad, are soon to come – which may mean the curious hasid took pictures of what he saw with his cellphone.
