A Chabad girls school in Crown Heights had their grade 1, 2 and 3 students write to Sholom Rubashkin, who is serving a 27 year sentence in federal prison for financial fraud related to Agriprocessors, his family's glatt kosher slaughterhouse. The girls got special candy as a reward for writing their letters. The project was promoted by Chabad's official women's group, Neshei u'Bnos Chabad.

Beis Chaya Mushka Girls of grades 1,2, and 3 have all been very busy having Ahavas Yisroel.
They give each other compliments, play together nicely during recess, and speak to their classmates with Ahavas Yisroel! To give a boost to our Ahavas Yisroel, the 3rd grade presented an Ahavas Yisroel song to grades 1 and 2.
The girls wrote caring letters to R' Shalom Mordechai Rubashkin.
The girls took upon themselves Hachlatos and wrote Brochos that he should have Geulah & ישועה right now.
Each girl received an Ahavas Yisroel Heart lolly pop, to internalize the Ahavas Yisroel Message.
All are Davening to Hashem, that in the Z'chus of our Ahavas Yisroel, Rabbi Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin will go out of jail immediately.
