The suppression order has been lifted and the case against David Cyprys, who allegedly molested at least a dozen boys at Chabad's Melbourne yeshiva and who was allegedly protected by the late head of Chabad in Australia Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Groner can now move forward.
The suppression order on the Cyprys case has now been lifted. We are not allowed to make public what went on during the suppression hearing as that happened under the interim order.
Bail is continued and Cyprys will next be in court for the committal hearing.....This is a hearing in front of a Magistrate who must decide if there is enough evidence to send the matter to the county court for trial.
The committal will be held at the Melbourne Magistrates Court starting Monday the 7th of May; the court has set aside time till the 15th though it may take longer.
