Report: Assistant Of Head Of Eidah Charedis Arrested

R' Amrom Shapiro, the gabbai (assistant) to the head rabbi of Eidah Charedis Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss, was just arrested by Israeli police in connection with recent haredi violence. "Jerusalem will burn!" Eidah Charedis activist says.

Satmar News Twitter feed reports that R' Amrom Shapiro, the gabbai (assistant) to the head rabbi of Eidah Charedis Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss, was just arrested by Israeli police in connection with recent haredi violence.

And the Satmar HQ Twitter feed reports that the Williamsburg Satmar Rebbe, Zalman Leib Teitelbaum, condemned Israli police for the arrest.

Kikar HaShabbat reports that an Eidah activist told them in response to the arrest, "Jerusalem will burn!"
