A female Likud Party Knesset Member says she was harassed by haredim after she rode in the front section of a gender segregated public ‘mehadrin’ bus from Beit Shemesh to Jerusalem, Ynet reported today.
A haredi man aked Tzipi Hotovely to move to the rear of the bus and when she refused, he and other haredim began to harass her.
After reporters who were covering her bus ride got off the bus, Hotovely says haredim on the bus screamed at her, shouting “go marry goyyim [gentiles]!,” and one haredi man pounded on the bus window.
