A 12-year-old boy has been missing from the Catskills since yesterday. Monticello Police and Catskills Hatzalah are reportedly setting up for a large-scale search.
The staging area is being set up at the Hebrew Day School across Gibbers Road.
Right now, there appears to be no more information available on the boy (pictured above), his place of residence or his name. (Either that or VIN's report is incomplete.)
While the post doesn't have the child's name, the embedded name of the picture is "Benyamin Simantov-Linkov."
Update 2:35 am CDT 10-24-11 – CBS is reporting that Benyamin Simantov-Linkov of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, who went missing from his family's second home in the Catskills, has been found safe and alive.
While CBS is not reporting where the child was found, VIN (same link as above) is reporting the child was found sleeping in a vacant house across the street from his family's Catskills home.
Other sources are reporting the child ran away after fighting with his mother.
