Rabbi David Weis tells a federal judge that his ruling to send the daughter of Rabbi Israel Weingarten away from home to protect her from her father who was raping her did not actually indict Weingarten, and that once a daughter accuses a father of sexual impropriety against her, the family relationship is "broken," and the daughter cannot remain in the house for yihud reasons.
Of course, this is all BS.
Weis's ruling was very clear, and he made no attempt to clear Weingarten's name then or afterward.
At any rate, here ithe affidavit Weis filed with the court last week.
Thankfully, the judge appears to have ignored it because, as I reported yesterday, he sentenced Weingarten to 30 years in federal prison.
