A candlelight vigil will be held tonight in Kensington, Brooklyn memory of a eight-year-old Leiby Kletzky, who disappeared and was found murdered in the neighborhood earlier this month.
Leiby was abducted on his way home from day camp on July 11 and his dismembered body was found almost two days later.
Police have been collecting evidence from inside and outside the Kensington home of Leiby's accused killer, 35-year-old Levi Aron, who was indicted on murder and kidnapping charges.
Mourners are asked to gather at the playground of P.S. 230 on McDonald Avenue at Albemarle Road in Kensington at 8:30 p.m.
Leiby's parents have publicly thanked New Yorkers for their support, and set up a memorial fund in their son's memory.
