A Brooklyn hasid was caught in the act Tuesday afternoon when a passerby flagged down a cop and fingered the hasid, who was nearby calmly loading his truck with furniture from a bungalow in the Crossroad Estates bungalow colony in Thompson, New York.
According to the Catskills Scoop, Deputy Sheriff Kevin Rogers rushed to the scene and confronted the 46-year-old hasid, who lives on Skillman Street in Brooklyn.
The hasid was unable to explain his actions and was arrested and charged with burglary in the 3rd degree, a felony, and petit larceny. He was arraigned in Thompson and sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.
