Two yeshiva students drag racing down 13th Avenue in Borough Park early this morning went through a red light and crashed into a car on 52nd Street. A Shomrim car placard was found in one of their cars, along with a BB gun pistol, which looks like a real automatic handgun.
The Boro Park Scoop reports:
In what is nothing less than a miracle, two Bochrim [unmarried yeshiva students] drag racing down 13th Avenue, barreled through a red light, and collided with a vehicle driving down 52nd Street, early Sunday morning. Residents told BoroParkscoop.com that the collision sounded like a bomb exploded – as a total of six cars were struck – two of them completely totaled. Bichasdei Hashem, no one was killed. The driver of the car on 52nd Street was reportedly going to Vasikin Minyan [a sunrise prayer service], while the Bochrim were spending the early morning drag-racing down 13th Avenue. Police found a BB gun in the trunk (see photos) and a window placard from Boro Park Shomrim.
They were all in stable condition, and no arrests have been made as of this posting.
