Haredim Arrested In Insurance Scam

Three haredim in Brooklyn are busted for involvement in a life insurance scam.

I've been working this story all day. Even so, what I'm reporting isn't yet confirmed by law enforcement.

Four haredim were arrested by the FBI today on charges related to an alleged insurance fraud.

Allegedly, two are named Moshe and Yehuda Neuman or Neiman, and one is named Lebowitz, while another, named Gutwein, is apparently still at large.

All are insurance agents, I'm told, and the scam allegedly has do with life insurance policies.

I hope more details will be forthcoming later tonight or tomorrow.

Update 11:23 pm CST – The Federal Indictment.
